We started our business shortly after we graduated from university with degrees in Criminology and Sport Science. We wanted to find a career where we could both work together and decided to follow our love and passion for animals.

The Bowring Park Luxury Cattery and The Small Animal Hotel have won many awards in just the short amount of time they have been running! This is the Knowsley MP Eddie O'hara conducting the Grand Opening of the Bowring Park Luxury Cattery.

We came runner up in the North-West women in business awards for 'best young entrepreneur' (January 2009)

We came runner up for best young entrepreneur at the Steve Morgan Foundation Awards (Nov 2008)

We represented the North-West of England on behalf of the Princes Trust and were invited to Westminster to meet HRH Prince Charles and the Chancellor of the Exchequer (May 2008)

We won the Celebration of Success Award from business link (Feb 2007)

We won the 'Best Young Entrepreneur' at the Knowsley Economic Forum Enterprise Awards (Nov, 2007)

We are ambassadors for the Make your Mark campaign and were chosen as inspirational role models for young people. 

In January 2010 the Bowring Park Luxury Cattery & The Small Animal Hotel came runner up for 'best Start up business' at the North-West women in business awards 2010, which was held in Ribby Hall lancashire.

We were also finalists in the British Small Business Championship Awards (2008). Highly commended for most innovating new business at the Knowsley Economic Fourm Awards (2008). We have been featured in the Daily Telegraph, Liverpool Echo, Daily Post, BBC Radio Merseyside, City Talk, Best Small Business Guide, and the Lancashire Life Magazine.
